130 hp - 96 kW at 3,600 rpm - 270 Nm at 1,800 rpm.

DXi3
150 hp - 110 kW at 3,400 rpm - 350 Nm at 1,600 rpm.

Renault Trucks has chosen EGR (Exhaust Gas Recycling) technology with Catalyser to comply with the Euro 4 standard.
Recycling exhaust gases is designed to lower combustion gas temperature, reducing the formation of Nitrogen Oxides (NOx) without increasing particle formation.
Particularly well adapted to an LCV’s average mileage, this technology requires no specific maintenance.
The Particle Filter (PF) option is only available on models equipped with the ZD30 engine (150hp) - incompatible with the automated gearbox.
In response to the regulations of certain towns, the PF generates a level of emissions equivalent to that required by the future Euro 5 standard.

CABS

A cab offer suited to the needs of the delivery trade.

• Short Cab ideal for a compact vehicle and suited to urban use.
• Double cab for carrying teams (up to 6 seats).

GEARBOX

Two manual gearboxes for improved adaptability :

• 5 speed on DXi2.5 - 110 and 130 hp and on DXi3 - 150 hp.
• 6 speed on DXi2.5 - 130 hp and on DXi3 - 150 hp.

The 5 speed gearbox, available on the 110 and 130 hp engines, provides the best compromise between payload and fuel economy. The 6 speed gearbox, available on the 130 and 150 hp engines provides greater
driving comfort and controlled consumption, thanks to its high torque at low engine speed. With its special short first gear, this gearbox offers greater mobility during low-speed driving.
A 6 speed automated gearbox is available only on models equipped with the ZD30 engine (150 hp).
This gearbox is not compatible with the Particle Filter (PF) option. It does, however, required the presence of ABS and EHS (easy hill start).

AXLES

• Limited slip differential on Maxity 110 and 130 hp.
  When a wheel fails to grip on a slippery surface and cannot transmit the torque to the ground, the limited slip differential transfers torque to the other wheel to help keep the vehicle moving.
• Low axle ratio available on the Maxity 3.5t 110 hp.
  This low ratio is specially designed for driving at low speeds and frequent stop / start applications.

BRAKING

The Renault Maxity is fitted with 4 disc brakes for increased braking performance and efficiency.
New generation ABS, supplied as standard or as an option according to model, offers a high level of performance, whatever the braking conditions. The EBD (Electronic Brake Distribution) (optional), paired with ABS, integrates the braking system into the vehicle’s electronics, delivering gradual and more efficient braking :

• Maximum braking performance at both front and rear.
• High vehicle stability under all circumstances.
• Reduced oversteering during braking (loss of rear directional stability when the brakes are applied).
• Brake durability.

WHEELBASES

To cover the best possible range of bodied lengths, Renault Maxity is available in 3 wheelbases:
L1: 2,500 mm.
L2: 2,900 mm.
L3: 3,400 mm.

EASY HILL START

A greatly appreciated new feature improving comfort and safety, the optional Easy Hill Start system allows the vehicle to start on gradients, with no risk of rolling backwards and without the need to use the parking brake, followed by the accelerator pedal.

The EHS also eliminates the need to maintain pressure on the brake pedal while waiting at traffic lights or in traffic.

For peace of mind during daily use, Renault Maxity can be equipped as standard with heavy duty batteries and alternators.

• Batteries: 12 V, 110 Ah on 110 hp and 130 hp; 12 V, 2x65 Ah on 150 hp.
• Alternators: 130 A on 110 hp and 130 hp; 135 A on 150 hp.

MAINTENANCE

To ensure the profitability of your activities, Renault Maxity offers extended maintenance intervals.
Engine oil :
30,000 km or 24 months.

Engine oil filter :
60,000 km or 48 months.

Fuel filter :
60,000 km or 48 months.

Gearbox oil :
45,000 km or 36 months.

Differential oil :
45,000 km or 36 months.

Drive train :
No maintenance.
