RENAULT TRUCKS’ DRIVER APPEAL WINS OVER REALLY TRUCKS

Really Trucks has expanded its 13-strong fleet

Following a significant increase in customer demand, leading Devon body builder and converter, Really Trucks, has expanded its 13-strong fleet to include three 44-tonne Range T460 4x2 tractor units and two 12-tonne Range D12 240s.

Really Trucks, which is part of the TRUCKSMITH™ Group, is already one of Renault Trucks’ largest LCV customers, converting Master platform cabs to the TRUCKSMITH LoLoader™ vans. The new Range Ts and Ds will be used to transport the high-volume, low-floored LoLoaders across the UK and Europe, as well as carrying new and used cars and vans and general haulage.

The new trucks, supplied by Renault Trucks Cardiff, are on a two-year full R&M deal through BRS Limited and were selected for their driver appeal and high productivity, as Managing Director, Daniel Trebble, explains: “Business is great. In the last six months we have increased our fleet size and capabilities due to customer demand and our aim is to increase the fleet further in the next six months. TRUCKSMITH has worked with Renault Trucks for many years producing the Renault Master LoLoaders, so we knew they provided extremely robust and reliable vehicles as well as offering exceptional value for money.”

Daniel continues: “One of the reasons for choosing the Range D and T is the driver appeal including the size of the Range T sleeper cab. As many of our drivers are working away during the week we want to give them the best possible living environment.  We’re extremely pleased with all the Renault trucks and our drivers are equally as pleased. Just a few of the positive comments from our team include the extra living space, the handling and especially the quietness of the vehicles.”

Chris Lewis, Renault Trucks Cardiff comments on the deal: “We’ve worked with Really Trucks for many years and taken the time to understand their particular requirements. I am delighted that they have selected to work with Renault Trucks once again and that the drivers in particular are so impressed by the new vehicles.”
