The support and training I have received has been brilliant. Every day, there is always something new to learn - especially as more and more electric trucks come to the depot. There's so many different parts of a truck and jobs to do - it never gets boring."

"Starting my apprenticeship with Renault Trucks in 2008 laid the foundation for a career I never could have imagined. Over the past 18 years, I’ve progressed from an apprentice to becoming a Master Technician in 2012, then moving into training where I’m now developing the technicians of the future. The industry has changed massively. When I started, electric vehicles were rare – now I’m working at the forefront of electric truck technology, helping ensure our network is ready for the next generation of transport. Beyond the workshop, I’ve supported the World Food Programme in Africa and travelled across the industry, meeting incredible people along the way. My apprenticeship didn't just teach me how to fix vehicles – it gave me the leadership skills to become an MHD technical trainer and contribute to innovation.
