Renault Trucks is once again exhibiting at the Resource & Waste Management Expo (RWM), taking place 17–18 September 2025 at the NEC, Birmingham.
Demonstrating its commitment to accelerating the decarbonisation of the waste and recycling sector, Renault Trucks will present a line-up of vehicles and initiatives that highlight the brand’s drive towards a cleaner, more sustainable future. Part of the exhibition stand itself is constructed from recycled cans, and visitors are invited to add their own clean cans to the installation, a living example of the circular economy in action.

On stand CTF350, visitors will see the Renault Trucks Master caged tipper, shown in its full electric E-Tech Master Red EDITION, alongside the fully electric E-Tech C hookloader from its heavy duty range.

E-Tech Master Red EDITION caged tipper

Equipped with 87 kWh battery, the Renault Trucks E-Tech Master Red EDITION offers a range of up to 460 km (WLTP) and combines improved aerodynamics and reduced energy consumption with the flexibility to be configured for waste and recycling applications. Its adaptable platform and factory-fitted options make it a practical, sustainable solution for municipal and commercial operators.

E-Tech C hookloader

The Renault Trucks E-Tech C 6x2 with Boughtons Hookloader body showcased on stand CTF350 demonstrates the versatility of the brand’s heavy duty electric range. With a 14-tonne payload* and the flexibility to carry 20ft and 22ft containers, the all-electric E-Tech C is equipped with four batteries, delivering an approximate driving range of 125km including around eight lifts, for a quieter, cleaner operation. It has a recharging time of just 1.5 hours using a 250kW DC charger. The E-Tech C delivers zero-emission performance without compromising productivity, making it ideally suited to intensive urban and regional waste and recycling operations.

Sustainability built into the stand

As well as showcasing vehicles, Renault Trucks is building sustainability into the very fabric of its stand. To replicate the visual impact of waste bales, mesh boxes will be filled with crushed aluminium drinks cans collected by Renault Trucks employees in the weeks leading up to the event, with additional contributions from Cano Water. This initiative not only reinforces the company’s sustainability message but also places its own people at the centre of the story, quite literally embedding their impact into the stand. During RWM, visitors will also be encouraged to join in, with Cano Water cans available on the Renault Trucks stand with an invitation to return used cans for crushing and recycling, allowing the display to evolve throughout the show.

After the event, Renault Trucks will donate all collected cans to Every Can Counts, a not-for-profit communications programme dedicated to inspiring and empowering people to recycle drink cans, for use in large-scale art installations. Renault Trucks looks forward to continuing this initiative, extending the impact well beyond the duration of the show.

Expert insight at RWM speaker programme

Renault Trucks will also play a key role in the RWM speaker programme. On Thursday 18 September at 11:15, Grahame Neagus, LCV & Municipal Manager at Renault Trucks UK & Ireland, will take to the Collections & Transport Theatre to deliver a session titled “Integrating European Thinking to a Better Future”. The talk will explore the challenges and opportunities in decarbonising UK municipal transport fleets, drawing on experience and learnings from across Europe to provide practical insights for local authorities and operators.

“RWM is a crucial event for us to engage with operators, local authorities and industry leaders,” said Grahame Neagus. “We’re excited to showcase our latest E-Tech vehicles and demonstrate how European best practice can help the UK overcome its unique urban transport challenges as we move towards net zero. Just as importantly, we want to involve visitors in our sustainability story – from the vehicles on display to the recycled cans that quite literally form part of our stand.”

Throughout the event, Renault Trucks’ Energy Transition experts will be on hand to advise visitors on every stage of the decarbonisation journey – from choosing the right vehicle specification to planning charging infrastructure and developing long-term transition strategies.
