Appalling and avoid at all costs!!! I bought a used XC40 in June, and it was missing the strap to hold the spare tire in place, as well as a rear door seal that was cut lengthwise.
It's been five months and two phone calls from me, and I'm still desperately waiting for a sign from customer service to get it fixed.
But I haven't heard anything yet, and frankly, I think it's shameful for this brand to treat its customers like this. Whether it's disorganization or incompetence, I can't decide, but the truth is, I'm still waiting...
