Renault Trucks is showcasing a scorching line-up from its highly-acclaimed range of light and heavy commercial vehicles at Truckfest Scotland 2017 (5-6 August) accompanied by special guest stars, The Red Hot Chilli Pipers. The iconic bagpipe band, which continues its partnership with Renault Trucks Scotland, will perform sets across the two-day show featuring its signature ‘Bagrock’ sound, a fusion of traditional tunes and rock anthems.

Held on the famous Royal Highland Showground at Ingliston, near Edinburgh, the full display on the Renault Trucks stand will include high specification demonstrators as well as customer vehicles, from Renault Trucks Master through to fuel efficient Range Ts and heavy duty construction trucks.

Highlights are anticipated to include JW Morrison’s lightweight Range T480 tractor unit with mini mid-lift (MML) adaption which offers up to half a tonne payload advantage over standard 6x2s, Access Platform’s manoeuvrable Range C460 8x2 with lifting rear-steer axle and Suretrack Beavertail body, and Forestry specification 13-litre Range T 6x2 tag axles from Ian Craig Haulage and Peter McKerrell & Co.

From Renault Trucks’ economical distribution range, GTG Glasgow’s D16 4x2 with box body by PHM Coachbuilders will join the stand alongside demonstrators from the Renault Trucks Master ‘Ready for Business’ range, including pre-bodied tipper and the new tailored Crew Van. Designed for the operator who wishes to combine functionality with high levels of comfort, the unique Master Crew Van comes with a very useable payload of over 1000kgs, top specification interior pack and is available in a range of metallic finishes.

Truckfest Scotland is a great opportunity for Renault Trucks to continue the promotion of its #proudprofessionals campaign, which celebrates the valuable contribution made by everyone who works in the commercial vehicle industry. Visitors are invited to join Renault Trucks at their stand and share a selfie with the hashtag #proudprofessionals. All photographs posted to twitter will be in with a chance of winning £150 of official Renault Trucks merchandise.
