Celebrating the best in its network, the winners of the Renault Trucks Dealer Awards were announced at the company’s black tie gala dinner at the ICC Birmingham last month. 270 colleagues from across the Renault Trucks UK & Ireland dealer network gathered for the annual awards, hosted for the second year by star of TV and radio, Colin Murray.

Themed ‘Discover our Diamonds’ after Renault Trucks’ latest advertising campaign which focuses on the quality of its people inspired by the strength of the diamond in the brand’s logo, the awards recognised outstanding achievements for 2016 in 15 categories.

One of the stars of the night was RH Commercial Vehicles, who came away with three awards including ‘Dealer of the Year’ and ‘Sales Team of the Year’, with their Alfreton branch winning ‘Aftermarket Team of the year’.

Sparks Commercial Services was another other big winner, consolidating its Commercial Motor Aftersales Dealer of the Year 2016 award with Renault Trucks Aftersales Dealer of the Year presented to Sparks Commercials Poole with Sparks Commercials Portsmouth coming a close second. Other winners from the evening included Renault Truck Commercials’ Alison White, who was presented with the Special Recognition Award, and Shaw Commercials, winner of the Irish Sales Dealer of the Year Award. Sales Executive, James Duffy of JDS Truck & Van Blackburn won the Dealer Recognition Award for Sales and a trip to New York.
